This is Farida. Farida was born and raised in Kazan, Russia. When she was 18 years old she moved to Germany as an au pair. After her exchange program was finished, she decided to stay a bit longer for her studies of Russian and German as a foreign language at the University of Heidelberg. In 2011 she finally moved to Berlin for her first job as an editor. “Berlin is a very big and lively city,” Farida says about her new home town. “I love its diversity and its anonymity.” Farida now works as a freelanced editor for the Russian migreatplatform for Berlin. In addition to that she is a freelanced PR music consultant for a Berlin music agency as well as for the singer Jimmy Magsevi. In her free time she writes for her blog kiezinberlin.com – a Russian blog about contemporary life in Berlin.
