Russian culture and especially its people have always fascinated me – their sincerity, their unconditional passion and their creativity in all areas of life, music and the arts. Unfortunately though, Russians are often misunderstood and, especially now, I feel it is even more important to get to know them better.
With Berlin as one of the coolest cities in the world, the history it shares with Russia and its population of about 20,000 Russians, I really hope to find an alternative and creative Russian scene just like the one I love so dearly in St. Petersburg and Moscow. This is my attempt to explore “Berlinograd” – the (in)famous Russian life in Berlin – and to introduce you to these sincere and very passionate Russians who participate in making Berlin a little bit more beautiful. Well, at least in my opinion.
Welcome to Berlinograd!
