Inna Stein, Fashion Designer at Steinrohner, Kreuzberg

September 29, 2014

This in Inna. Inna has lived in Berlin since she was eight years old. Originally she is from Voronezh, Russia but she grew up in Berlin-Hellersdorf, until she moved to Prenzlauer Berg and started studying Fashion Design at the Art Academy Berlin-Weissensee. In 2013 she founded her label Steinrohner with her design partner Caroline Rohner. “Our designs are inspired by pictures”, she says, “and we also like tridimensional structures.” The designers are currently showing their summer collection 2015 in Paris. The name of their collection is FOSSILIZED and it is a modern interpretation of stones and tools of the Stone Age. What Inna likes best about Berlin? “Its diversity”, she says, “Berlin is my home town and here I feel like home. And also, that I saw the changing Berlin over the course of time.”

Steinrohner will be showing at Berlin Alternative Fashion Week this year. For more information about the label go to www.steinrohner.com and/or visit their Facebook.
