This is Andrej. Andrej izBerlina.de (Russian: from Berlin) to be exact. Andrej was born in Astrakhan, Russia and moved to Berlin in 2002 for his studies. He fell in love in and with the city and stayed. Now he lives in Friedrichshain and proves his love for the German capital constantly on his website www.izberlina.de. “I want to present the city the way it really is”, he says and adds “and therefore I also offer off the beaten track and classical Berlin tours in Russian language for free.” What do you love most about Berlin?“, I ask Andrej. “The architectural contrast, its diversity, multiculturality, and that I never feel like a foreigner”, he answers, smiling.
