This is Anna. Anna is a Berlin-based painter who studied art at the Art Academy Berlin-Weissensee. All her works are oil on canvas in which she concentrates on female archetypes. “Women are more interesting to me,” she says. “They are more complex and more diverse.” Diversity is what she also loves about Berlin. Anna left her small home town in the outskirts of Saint Petersburg with her family when she was 15 years old. The German capital became her new home. “Berlin can be calm and it can be loud,” the artist reveals. “You will find whatever you want in whatever stage of life you are. Berlin can be both – relaxing and thrilling at the same time.”
