Ekaterina Koroleva’s “Bosco” at @Kombinatrotweiss Gallery Frankfurt/Main, 18.08.-15.09.2017

Kombinatrotweiss Gallery is presenting the first solo exhibition of Russian-Berliner illustrator and artist Ekaterina Koroleva entitled Bosco.

With ink, watercolor and pencil, Ekaterina Koroleva creates abstract female images in intense colors. Ekaterina’s fascination is the silhouette of the female body. The illustrator’s delicate fragility of a woman and her simultaneous expressiveness are captured in sketches foregrounded on flowing watercolor backgrounds. The exhibition showcases the different techniques which Ekaterina Koroleva has developed over recent years, all which deal with the Leitmotiv of her works: The mysticism of woman.
