Ruberoid Festival is an alternative Arts Festival organized by young Russian-speaking creatives from Berlin. Due to its huge success over the past years, especially last year, it’s being held once again at ACUD in Prenzlauer Berg on the 25th and 26th of November. The venue offers different spaces over three different floors, perfect for the many different happenings including film screenings, literature readings, theater performances, workshops and of course, music! Among many artists shortly to be announced in their programme, Skazka Orchestra, our favorite Russian band from Berlin, will be playing at the festival.
My favorite part of the Ruberoid Festival – at the risk of repeating myself – is all the amazing Russian-Berliners who create, participate and attend the festival. In two days, you’ll get to meet, talk and become acquainted with many great Berliners (and non-Berliners) who’ll warmly welcome you into their Russian community. If you’ve ever wanted to get a glimpse of Russian Berlin – this is undoubtedly the place to be.
